Aloha! We had a visitor from Hawaii!

We are Soraya and Ava from class 8c and last week we were visited by Tiffany from Hawaii in our English lesson. It was very interesting and funny.

Tiffany is in Germany because she is studying German, she is also a teaching assistant in Munich. With the help of a Power Point that she created, we learned a lot about how it is in Hawaii, what people do there, what they eat and what the school system is like. It is beautiful there!

We were also able to ask her all kinds of questions about the US. The good thing was that she spoke English, which we could understand easily.

Finally, we played a Kahoot game created by her, to test our knowledge about Hawaii. But the funniest thing was that we all ended up dancing the hula. It was a really great lesson.

Aloha! (it can mean “hello” and “goodbye”)
